a blog reborn

After a period of inactivity, Nic's A&D blog is now relaunched as an international blog on architecture and design, written entirely in English. For the history of the blog, click the 'About' tab.

What’s it all about?

On this blog, I write about potentially anything pertaining to built space and man-made objects from a design perspective. I am an architect with a PhD in urban design, and I am a researcher and educator in architecture. I take interest in the relationship between design and society, economy and culture. Therefore, you will not just find writings on design artefacts or cool buildings and places, but also theoretical reflections on design.
